Zune HD, UK release please!

I was having a hunt around for an alternative to the igay and stumbled across a few excellent websites whereby I was led to believe there was an alternative to the machine – Apple.
After a quick click through the review sites, I had set my targets on the Zune HD and was getting buzzed about the prospect of owning one. Not only did the Zune HD look absolutely great, it was said to be a little faster, a little tastier, and a little more functional than the gaypod. I watched review video after review video to hear the same exciting news over and over again that this little beast was going to open a can of whoop ass on the fagpod. Deep in my gut I knew it felt right; I whipped out my Visa and punched into Google Shop…
WHAT? Not sold in the UK? Let me get this straight – After all my searching, all my research and all my hype, I find that the device that would make the ipod look like a teenage spot isn’t sold in the UK… What a pile of shit.
So I wrote this blog to urge those bastards to get that Zune HD into the UK without having to sign up with American accounts and all that jazz.
I also urge readers to comment here and explain the emotional turmoil they are going through over this awful awful news.

i totally agree. i did the same thing . all the searching , and hype and then its not fuckin sold in the uk. hurry up microsft
I was having a look at the HTC Desire. It seems pretty good compared to the iPhone. I hope that people start to realise there are alternatives to that Apple stuff.
Can’t you just buy it from amazon.com? (the American one) I’m sure the american amazon website ships to the uk. You might not feel like you’re getting it straight from a microsoft shop with all the nice warranties and what not but it’s the same right?
Yeah, absolutely. You can buy it but unfortunately the Microsoft app store does not work here in UK. You have to sign up as an American to the store to be able to use the apps.
I mean, I don’t know for sure, but that’s what I have been reading. Alas, the HTC Desire HD comes out soon, so that’s a fair enough replacement.

Man, that is quite a bummer
For me the biggest and only problem with the zune (or any mp3 player for that matter) is that it’s not compatible with itunes or itunes playlists without having to get your hands onto some re-programming software or something D:
Just wondering, is the HTC Desire a phone? I had a quick look at it, appears like an almost exact replica of the itouch/iphone to me
Well, I’m really not a fan of Itunes, its mainly the reason I didn’t want to get an iPod. But that’s just my opinion.
The HTC Desire HD is a phone so you end up getting an iPhone like device and paying just as much too but you get a few added extras, two of which interest me most:(faster browsing and Flash enabled on the phone).
Yeah, I definitely see the drawbacks of itunes but its simplicity works…worked for me
i recently moved onto the zune software to see what it was like and i know seriously don’t remember why I even liked itunes :S
