How to work out a percentage

I always forget it, how do you work out a percentage… So here you are, this is how you work out a percentage:
(Given amount/ Total amount) * 100
example:
My website has had 1,522 unique visitors.
There are 6,697,254,041 people in the whole world
(1522/6697254041) * 100
*cries*… I’m not divulging in the percentage of the world that visits my site, because it will drive me into a deep depression…
But there you have it: How to work out a percentage.
